Our client is a privately held company that develops and commercializes medical devices for treatment of osteoarthritis and joint damages. Their mission is to provide best-in-class, patient-specific implants and instrumentation that minimize the trauma and scarring, and improve the limited reproducibility often associated with traditional orthopedic implant surgery.
Our client is seeking a Sales Territory Manager who is has strong sales skills (a ?Hunter?), closing skills, and the ability to provide educational support/training to orthopedic/ sports medicine surgeons and staff at hospitals and surgicenters.
Successful candidates will have 2 to 4 years successful sales experience in medical devices, with strong preference to those with orthopedic implant and/or sports medicine. Candidates should have a proven track record as a successful hunter and closer particularly with new technology and concept sales. The ideal candidate must be highly ethical and entrepreneurial, have proven track record of driving sales in both large and small companies, have direct ?hands-on? experience, and consistently project confidence, sincerity, and credibility. He/she must have a strong existing base of loyal customers and contacts in hospitals and surgicenters and have demonstrated excellent skills in growing sales and overachieving expectations with new technology. Strong interpersonal, communications, organizational and technical skills as well as a thorough understanding and ability to work the sales process are critical to success. Teambuilding and distributor management skills are a plus.
