Maxim Home Health Resources, a division of Maxim Healthcare Services, specializes in providing intermittent care for Medicare, Managed Care, Workman?s Compensation, Private Insurance, and Private Pay clients. This division was created to primarily focus on the $14 billion dollar marketplace for Medicare Home Health Care.
Our local office is currently seeking an Account Executive that will be responsible for selling to and building long-term relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers and other healthcare professionals. This individual will also play an integral role in the education of referral sources and community members regarding the functions and benefits of nursing and therapy services in the home setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops excellent working relationships with referral sources in the area with the ability properly manage individual accounts.
Effectively educates hospital staff, physicians, and other facilities regarding the benefits of utilizing Home Care Services and appropriate patients to refer to Home Health.
Routinely provides superior customer service and follow up to referral sources.
Generates sales leads on a daily basis through established networking channels.
Keeps office staff informed of change in the health care community and makes recommendations on ways to meet company goals while maintaining compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
Establishes linkage with the community to maintain awareness of community needs.
Presents in-services to hospitals, physician, and facility staff as required. Strives to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial goals.
Demonstrates industry knowledge.
Performs specific projects as requested by the Administrator.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business/Marketing preferred
Two years sales experience in the healthcare industry
Knowledge of home health care services and Medicare coverage guidelines a plus
Highly motivated, self-confident, and self-directed
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills
Reliable transportation, valid state driver's license and current automobile insurance
Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
Frequent daily travel, occasional overnight travel
