The Business Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new small to medium sized business customers for Comcast?s commercial grade broadband Internet service and other business related services.
Meet and exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales activity and budgeted sales goals for new subscriber growth and revenue.
This position develops leads, contacts prospects, makes appointments, hunts for, acquires and retains new subscribers to generate incremental revenue.
Acquire new commercial territory by conducting door-to-door canvassing, appointments and referral solicitation in assigned territory.
Utilize appointments to evangelize, develop, manage, and grow new business relationships.
Must be an aggressive self starter with the ability to communicate Comcast products and services to create demand and close deals.
Solicit new referral opportunities, channel partners and sign new business.
Maintain and increase sales volume from established accounts, secure renewal and incremental revenue opportunities with new contracts from existing accounts.
Thoroughly review all customer and prospect relationships, serviceable territories, vertical markets, and channel partners to ensure high customer penetration levels and all are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis.
Complete required documentation and CRM tool entries to ensure customers orders are processed correctly and timely manner.
Participate and contribute in trade shows, industry events, customer entertainment activities, sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed.
Perform other duties and projects as necessary to help attain personal and team goals as required by the Sales Manager.
Minimum Requirements
?Bachelors degree in sales and marketing or the equivalent in work experience with measurable track record of exceeding sales performance benchmarks in a business to business sales environment.
?Strong technology sales background in Telecom, Voice, Data, Software, Hardware, Copier and other business to business solutions or equivalent experience in other business to business related vertical markets preferred.
?Excellent verbal and written communications skills, proven sales and negotiation skills.
?Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
?Ability to meet and exceed minimum monthly sales quota.
?Must have computer literacy (i.e., spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail, research, scheduling).
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
