Responsible for implementing strategies and plans to promote the sale of DIRECTV products and services to consumers through local distributors, dealers and retailers in Dallas-Forth Worth area. Specific duties include recruiting/developing new points of distribution, dealer management, training, implementation of sales incentive programs and assisting distributors with company sales processes. In addition, will communicate with dealers, distributors and manufacturers on various issues such as charge backs, audits and commissions.

Requires five or more large-scale professional business-to-business sales and account management experience, preferably in the consumer products/services and/or electronics/wireless industry. Background must include significant experience and proven expertise in retail-based consumer promotions, advertising/marketing and sales. Previous experience with DBS and/or wireless dealers/distributors and a degree in marketing, business or equivalent is preferred.

This position requires the ability to travel extensively in the assigned territory, including overnight. In addition, must be able to work extended work hours and weekends as necessary, possess a valid U.S. driver's license (including favorable motor vehicle record, reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage) and be able to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement.
